Hello everyone! I’m Jessica from genwin design co. and I’m super pumped to share my first ever make using RCF’s AMAZING sweatshirt fleece fabric!
I chose the Tawny Brown and Charcoal Minimal Tree print because I was really drawn to the color and I’m obsessed with minimalistic prints. I really wanted to make the perfect fall sweater and I really think I did! I used two patterns from Sonia Estep Designs---the Rebekah and the Tennessee. I mashed them together and added a few original touches.
The boatneck neckline is so flattering and the bishop sleeves are so dreamy! I added a little volume to these sleeves because I wanted them to be extra puffy at the bottom. At the hem, I really wanted a subtle asymmetrical side-split, so I changed up the bottom of the pattern to get just what I wanted. I used Solid Charcoal French Terry for the cuffs as well as an optional sash! I really love flowy tops, which is why I mashed the Rebekah with the Tennessee, but I also like adding a coordinating sash to a top or dress sometimes to really define the waist!
