Sew an Athletic Set from Swim with Emily

With spring sewing in full swing my kids have been wanting more fun and bright prints, but they also want to be comfy.

My kids have been living in athletic sets, so I decided to give RCF swim a whirl to see if it passed the comfy kid test! I’ve found that finding athletic fabric in the prints that my kids love can be trick sometimes. Once I made the first set, they were hooked! It’s the perfect amount of stretch & weight for kids.

For this set I used the Smile Checker Print Fabric from the Bright by Brittney Laidlaw collection, and I had one happy girl! I love that Raspberry Creek has SO many swim prints to make for fun athletic sets all year.

The pattern used was Peony Patterns Peach Leggings & Plumeria crop. The next time you want to make an athletic set, I hope you consider all of the amazing options from RCF!
