Favorite Things Blog Tour 2021 Day Five

Today is the last day of our Favorite Things tour and it's been so fun to see our team's genius at work.  We are looking forward to sharing more details about our custom printing options coming soon but today we'll give you a little glimpse at what you can expect.  If you've been around the RCF world for very long you know we have lots of CLUB bases we print on: cotton lycra jersey and french terry, double brushed polyester, swim knit and boardshort, rayon challis, stretch crepe, ponte de roma,  hacci sweater knit, sweatshirt knit, minky, and our latest additions rib knit and triblend jersey.  With custom printing we offer even more options! From linen and poplin, to performance knit and bullet and Liverpool, the possibilities will seem endless.  When we roll out the new process, we will give you all the information you need to pick the perfect print and fabric base to get the optimal finished product.

Kari of That's Sew Kari has an eye for mixing prints and these suits are the perfect showcase of that talent.  She says:

From the moment I tried sewing swimwear, I became obsessed! It's by far my favorite base to sew and when I asked my girls, they agreed swim is their favorite that I sew for them. While I've sewn lots of swim patterns, I almost always return to the very first one I sewed -- Laguna by Little Lizard King. My oldest had fun choosing a print and then I chose the coordinates. Being able to choose any print/coordinate and have it show up on swim was simply amazing! Daisies hold a special place in my heart so I was thrilled to see her request this print. Being a perfectionist in the sewing room, I always have a seam ripper handy. My most favorite seam ripper is Cindy's Seam Ripper from Riley Blake Designs. It's comfortable, sharp and I haven't lost it yet!! HA!

Jessica of Genwin Design Co. always looks stunning in her makes.  She shares:

I love sewing things that make me feel great about myself and the Greenstyle Creations Bomdia dress does just that! I also have a current obsession with ombre, so this RCF red, white, and blue dbp ombre was a perfect choice! Add to that combo the use of wash away tape and I was all set for the perfect little patriotic dress!

Shauna of Shwin Designs created a mini capsule wardrobe and it's to die for!  She says:

RCF has been my favorite fabric shop for several years now, so joining in the favorite things tour seemed like a no brainer. Now I got to select a print I was eyeing forever but was only available in swim fabric and I was able to get it in my favorite french terry fabric. I made a little mini capsule wardrobe with my favorite patterns and of course used my favorite sewing room tool, freezer paper.
