Have you enjoyed reading about our team as much as I have?! We're so lucky to get to work with such incredible people. A HUGE thank you to our current team for sharing their creativity and talent with us.
Being part of the RCF Strike and Promo team has been an amazing experience in so many ways! Each new CLUB release has been a joyful source of inspiration and creativity. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into the cohesive collections and how they always coordinate perfectly with the solids and basics. I love that the designs celebrate not only our favorite seasons and holidays, but also these important values – family, education, patriotism, kindness, gratitude and a good sense of humor! I even enjoyed several fun “firsts” working with the wide range of fabrics RCF offers – including swim and minky. Congratulations to RCF for the exciting launch of Designer Studios and the 30k milestone – I’m so thankful to be a small part of your big adventure!
Hey everyone! My name is Emily, I sew for my four kids (Sofia, Lucia, Millie, and Banksy)! Raspberry Creek is extra special to me because it was the first fabric that I ever purchased! I have truly enjoyed growing friendships through the team, improving my photography, and being inspired by other sewist! RCF has such a great community, I’ve truly enjoyed my time on the promo team.
I have been a fan of Raspberry Creek Fabrics since my sewing adventures began in 2015. It has been a joy to be on the promo team for this awesome company! I have gotten to share a few blog posts with some sewing tips I have learned along the way on adding pockets to a skirt and taking pictures of your finished projects. One of my favorite things about RCF is the supportive online community both on Facebook and Instagram. It is exciting to share projects with others and I love gaining inspiration as well! Here are a few of my favorite RCF makes from the last few months. Thanks for inspiring me everyday!!
I really enjoyed being on the RCF team for the past term! Everyone was friendly and understanding if I needed more time getting samples made. I already fell in love with RCFs quality before joining the team and being on the team only extended that. I can’t really pick a favorite project as there were so many. Specifically I really enjoyed being able to sew prints from the swim line. The swim is simply amazing and so easy to work with. This was truly a pleasant experience and an amazing team!
The best way to describe my experience as a RCF Promo team member(and previously a Strike-Off Sewist), is to say that it’s like being part of one big happy family! Imagine being part of a whole family that bonds over awesome fabrics! I have absolutely loved being part of the RCF family!
My favorite part of being in this special family?? Sneak peeks of the upcoming releases! It always gave me a bit of extra time to start planning what I “needed” to buy! It also gave me a way to hide my fabric buying obsession from my husband(but seriously~ he is well aware of my problem). A box of fabric arrives~ and I would casually say “oh goody new promo fabric!”
I have really enjoyed participating in the Swim Tours and my makes for them are definitely among my favorite makes of all time.(And the most worn!)

I started sewing with knits almost 6 years ago and I randomly found Raspberry Creek Fabrics and thought I'd give them a try. I was brand new to the knit world of fabrics so I didn't know much about quality. I was so happy about the quality (back when RCF was screen printing a few fabrics). Their fabric quality and design quality have only gotten better and better in the last 6 years!
I feel so lucky to be part of the team this term to help promote their darling and cozy fabrics. Most of my kid's wardrobes and a big portion of mine are made by me, much of it with raspberry creek fabrics! My kids are hard on clothing and they last so long! My 1 year old is wearing clothes I made for my now 6.5 year old and they are still in amazing condition. I have recently been enamored by rib knits and I was so excited when RCF introduced printing on rib! I was pretty proud to be able to sew their own swimsuits this year. And I sewed all their outfits for family pictures!

Today's the day! If you've ever wanted to join the RCF team head to our Facebook Group for our team application that will be open through Sunday July 17th. We switch our teams up twice a year so your next chance won't be until January! For more of what to expect as a team member read on:
I started sewing when I had my first daughter back in 2018, after being a boy mom for so many years I was excited to make all things girl! Back then I thought I had to get all my fabric at the fabric stores until a friend introduced me to Raspberry Creek Fabrics. The quality, selection of prints and fabric bases and affordability kept me coming back all these years later. It’s been such an amazing experience getting to work with the RCF team and I am honored to have gotten the opportunity!
This year was my first time working with the RCF team as a promo member and I have to say that it was one of the BEST experiences I have had! As a self-taught sewist, being on a promotion team seems to be one of the coveted titles in this community, whether it is for fabric or sewing patterns. That being so, I actively looked for opportunities to work with different companies. So being invited onto the RCF team, I already had quite a bit of experience with testing/promotion teams, and from my personal experience, RCF is one of my top companies to promo for.
The RCF team is SO organized. The team leads communicate clearly and they also offer additional opportunities for those who are willing to put in some extra work. I really appreciate the kindness, organization and open communication that RCF has provided. The way they operate really brings positivity to the teams that they put together and it shows because everyone is always excited to work. If I ever have the opportunity to work with them again, I wouldn’t think TWICE. Thank you so much RCF!
My first trip to Raspberry Creek Fabrics was right after they got their first printer. Diana took us back to see and I was amazed and hooked! It has only gotten better since then with so many more fabric bases added - including my favorites which are swim and rayon challis. One of my favorite parts about being on the RCF team (besides the fact that it’s like a family) is finding prints that I normally wouldn’t be drawn to and falling in love with them! Sometimes I don’t get the prints I originally thought I’d want, but get something even better! My mind is always going a million miles an hour trying to decide what each piece of fabric wants to be! It would be impossible to pick a favorite, but here are a couple!
I bought my first sewing machine in 2017 after never having any interest in sewing. Shortly after I made my first knit fabric purchase from Raspberry Creek and I’ve been hooked ever since! 95% of my apparel fabric is RCF, so if that doesn’t explain my love for RCF I’m not sure what else will!
The list of reasons I love RCF is long; the variety of prints, the colors of the collections, the affordable prices, the online community, the customer care, the fast shipping time. Let’s not forget about the stripes. I love a good stripe and RCF has amazing stripes! As a mom of three, with a son and daughters it’s so nice to be able to find prints that all of my kids love. The variety itself within each collection makes it so easy to make coordinating outfits.
Never in a million years did I ever think I would be a part of the Raspberry Creek strike-off team but here I am. It has been so much fun! It’s like being in the best club ever! You instantly get a fabric family and everyone is just as excited as you. I’ve loved getting an early sneak peek of the new prints. Every new collection has been amazing but I think I had the most fun with the swim!
Hi. My name is Lei and I have 2 daughters, Aerith (5) and Kyrie (1). My family lives in Michigan. If I am not working in a hospital as a nurse, I enjoy sewing dresses for my kids and taking pictures of them, gardening and traveling. I have always been afraid of sewing knits until I discovered Raspberry Creek Fabrics. Through the years, I have sewed my daughters' their outfits and has created a lot of memories and RCF has been part of that. I would scroll through my pictures and looking at my kids in their pretty dresses make my heart smile. Being part of the RCF sewing community has been fun. I love the inspiration that I get from member's posts. I am amazed with the talent and creativity. I was thrilled when I became a strike sewist for RCF. It was exciting to see all the fabrics in the new collection and mark my favorites. It was fun mix and matching fabrics and seeing my vision come to life. It is definitely one of the highlights in my sewing journey.
I have loved the wonderful in-person and online friends I have made through being a part of the RCF team. The group is like having built-in cheerleaders. My confidence in myself and my skills have grown.
If you would have asked me several years ago what I was most scared to sew, it would have been swimwear. I have gained so much advice and tips from the RCF team that swimwear is now my favorite thing to sew for my kids. It is so much fun to customize swim to their size and personalities. How many swimsuits are too many for one kid?
A little under 6 years ago I began my sewing journey with my daughter and found RCF shortly after. I used their fabric to create some one of a kind pieces for my daughter and have loved every second of it. Fast forward 3 years and I have two boys. I love that I can get whatever fabric I’m looking for at RCF, whether it’s for my girl or my boys. Such a great variety of prints and fabric bases, you’re sure to find something you love! I have followed along the journey of RCF and it has been an absolute dream to be on their strike team. I have grown both in my sewing and creativity because of it and that is something I am so thankful for. Beautiful people and an amazing community, nothing is better! Thank you for your amazing designs and keeping my kids stylish!

It's that time of year where we celebrate our Favorite Things! This year we wanted to do a little something different and really highlight our amazing team that works so hard sewing up and sharing the latest RCF fabrics and inspiration. We are so grateful to have such a talented group of seamstresses sewing up, promoting, and rooting each other on! These women exemplify our incredible community and we don't know what we'd do without them.
Our teams are selected to work with us for about a six month period and then we switch things up for a new round of sewists. Our next team call will be at the end of this week so we wanted to give you a little glimpse at what it's like working with RCF. Our team will be sharing their experiences and favorite projects throughout the week!
I first discovered RCF a little over 4 years ago. I have been hooked ever since my first order of 2 yards. The whole community is amazing! The inspiration that I gain from the FB page is so amazing. I love knowing that there are others out there who get my obsession and love for sewing. I love sewing for my kiddos, because seeing their faces light up is just the best. But, I also am so grateful that I can sew for myself and make things that fit my unique body and style. I have never once had a swimsuit that I felt comfortable and confident in until I made my own. It is just such a thrill to be able to do that, and I’m so glad I can buy amazing quality fabric with amazing prints.
It has been so fun being able to be a deeper part of the process at RCF these past 6 months! The creativity that goes on behind the scenes is unreal. I swear my jaw drops in awe every time a new collection is dropped. Seriously. How do they keep coming up with new and unique designs that are just always amazing?! It has been such an honor to do what I love while promoting a business that I love and support. It’s been a joy watching the growth of Raspberry Creek over the last 4 years, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
Hi, I am Summer Heaton. I have been sewing clothes for my kids for about three years. I knew about RCF the first month when I started my sewing journey. I love that RCF provides a lot of good gender neutral prints, so I can easily find cute fabric that my boys enjoy. We used to live in Utah so we loved to go pick up our orders and the people there were so nice and sweet. We definitely love RCF’s customer service. I also love being in the RCF team, because I have learned so much from other seamstresses.
Congrats! So happy to see you hit a new milestone! I can’t wait to see what you will bring to us next.
Hi, my name is Sarah. I discovered Raspberry Creek Fabrics 7 years ago and was so excited to find a local to me fabric company. I would meet Diana or Tami in a parking lot to pick up my order from my “fabric dealer”. I have loved being part of the Raspberry Creek team and community. I have found great friends who I can ask questions, bounce ideas off of, and celebrate successes with. I love having a place where I feel like I belong.
Ahhh, the dream to be an RCF strike sewist. But it’s so much more than free fabric! Getting to see the new designs before they are presented to the public creates a euphoria similar to a child on Christmas morning. Then there is the rush when the fabric arrives at your doorstep (or if you are blessed enough to pick up at the store-that’s the level of amazing all need to experience). But creating a garment that my kids go crazy over is the absolute best part., Followed by the cheering section of everyone on the team who are always incredible with encouraging words or a helpful suggestion if needed. I love everything about RCF and so happy I found this community and started building my stash before I even knew how to sew knits.
My son rocked this patriotic design at Mount Rushmore. My daughter is so in love with this suit she wears it as casual wear as well as in the pool.
It's been so much fun being part of the RCF blog team! While I still have some RCF waiting for me to sew, I just wanted to mention a few of my favs so far! For my son, it's got to be his Binary Code t-shirt in French terry (Sunflower Seams Dogwood). He's probably worn this shirt more than any other in his wardrobe since I made it. Makes my heart happy to see him love something mom-made so much.
And my favorites for my daughter and me are our RCF leopard print swimsuits (my very first swim design, Wild Seeds Palmetto). She would wear leopard print all day everyday if she could, and this swim print allowed her to keep that going, even at the pool! It made the most fun, beautiful suits and we’ve been making memories in them all summer!
Can’t wait to see what prints are coming next! Thanks so much for having me & Happy Sewing!!
We're celebrating all week in our Facebook Group with giveaways from our generous pattern sponsors and of course, fabric!
