STRAWBERRY THIEF IN WOODLAND TEAL - WILLIAM MORRIS

Designed by: SalvageScapes

One of William Morris' most iconic arts and crafts textile designs originally inspired by the thrushes that Morris' gardener would find stealing berries from the kitchen garden outside his famous country house, Kelmscott Manor.  A late 1800's Victorian pattern that would have used the traditional, more laborious and expensive wood block and indigo dyed printing method. Offered here in more modern and simplified color palatte. For more color options and other William Morris designs see the SalvageScapes collections.
