One of William Morris' most iconic arts and crafts textile designs originally inspired by the thrushes that Morris' gardener would find stealing berries from the kitchen garden outside his famous country house, Kelmscott Manor. A late 1800's Victorian pattern that would have used the traditional, more laborious and expensive wood block and indigo dyed printing method. Adapted from an original antique Victorian textile fabric retaining its characteristics and texture from its wood block printing method. For more colorways and other William Morris designs see the SalvageScapes collections.
