Inspired by the African mud cloth-strip cloth textiles called Baule cloth created on the Ivory Coast of Africa. This pink, blue, and white Ikat design has a textured look built in. African Baule cloth is made by looming long narrow strips of fabric that are typically four inches wide. These narrow strips are then joined using a zig zag machine to create one wide textile. The traditional bright colors here make for a lovely summer print, Beach Cottage style, or Boho design. The repeat is 12 inches by 12 inches.
