As the youngest of eight kids, it was easy to get drowned out by all the older & much louder personalities in the house. Our shoestring budget prompted me to design my own stationery for birthdays & holidays while creating my own art prints & wrapping paper using whatever leftover materials we had at the time. After taking out a loan for a failing design studio during my young & naive days, I mustered up the courage to branch out on my own in 2009 & have never looked back. Surface design is something I fell in love with long before I knew the term for it. Creativity serves as a language that allows us to solve problems & translate ideas when words don’t suffice. It’s not just about making things look pretty - it’s about communicating effectively across all ages, ethnicities, & walks of life.
