I’m Amelia, a UK based surface pattern designer, illustrator and printmaker creating nature inspired designs for fabric, wallpaper and interiors. With an MA in Visual Communication from Derby University, I spent five years working as a professional artist before discovering surface pattern design in 2025. My work is inspired by British gardens, seasonal landscapes and the small details of the natural world, often carrying a sense of nostalgia, story and heritage. I combine drawing, painting and traditional printmaking with digital techniques to create patterns that retain a handmade character. My hope is to create timeless designs that bring the beauty and character of nature into the places we live and the things we use every day.
