In February the flowers begin to come from the once snow covered ground popping up along roadsides, riverbeds, and under tall trees. This pop of color signifies the long awaited start of the Spring for the Wisconsin locals. It is a much loved flower among the locals and represents much more to a lot of people than just a pretty flower.
