Retail Fabric Shop Policies
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of fabric IF fabric is in it's original uncut, unwashed condition. After a fabric has been washed, cut into or altered in any way, you waive your right to a return, refund or exchange. If the return is at no fault of Raspberry Creek Fabrics and is at the will of the customer, the customer is responsible for return postage, original postage will not be included in the refunded amount. This return policy applies to bulk orders as well.
- In the off chance you receive a flawed piece of fabric, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will more than happily replace the flawed piece of fabric if we are notified within 14 days. Resolutions for fabric flaws outside of the 14 day window will be handled on a case by case basis.
- All non-printed items are cut from the bolt. If you'd like multiple continuous yards just add multiple quantities to your shopping cart. We cut continuously for fabrics in the same order. If multiple orders are placed we can not guarantee continuous yardage. When purchasing yardage over 10 yards, we try to keep those cuts continuous. However, it is difficult to cut yardage over 10 without encountering a flaw. On purchases over 10 yards of a single item you may receive separate cuts.
- We print 58-60 inches wide. Oftentimes fabric is milled a bit wider than our spec, so there my be a bit of blank fabric near the selvage. This does not mean you received less printed fabric than what you paid for. You will receive 58-60 inches worth of printed fabric, which is what we advertise.
- Once an order has shipped and the customer has received tracking, Raspberry Creek Fabrics is no longer responsible that order. It is in the hands of a courier (USPS/FedEx/UPS/DHL) and all questions regarding the packages whereabouts should be directly to the mail couriers customer service referencing the tracking number provided.
- USPS tends to be the most reliable, and fastest processing and shipping method. If the option to ship USPS is in the same price range, and you have picked shipping with another carrier, we will ship USPS unless specifically requested otherwise.
- International customers: Once a package has reached the destination countries customs department, Raspberry Creek Fabrics can no longer track that package. Please contact your local post with the tracking number provided and they will assist you further. Customers outside of the US are responbile for paying any customs, duties or VAT taxes associated with their order.
- As part of our eco-friendly business model, we do not wrap orders in plastic before placing them in the shipping bag or box. If you would like extra protection such as plastic, around your order please leave a note at checkout requesting your fabrics be wrapped in plastic before shipping.
- LOCAL PICK UP: We are available for local pick up Monday-Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm, Friday 9-12 noon. 8695 S Highland Drive, Sandy.
- Turnaround time: We know how much you all LOVE fabric! We are working very hard to get orders out as quickly as possible. Please refer to the banner at the top of our homepage, it lists the current turnaround time. If you purchased during a site wide sale, please expect a slightly longer turnaround time than what is listed on the banner. Please remember that weekends and national holidays do not count as business days, therefore they do not count towards turnaround days.
Laundering Information
- We recommend washing on cold or warm in a gentle cycle using a mild, phosphate free detergent and tumble dry on low. For best results, wash with like fabrics avoiding abrasive items like towels and jeans. Iron on low with plenty of steam.
- Please note: Darker solid colored fabrics that were dyed at a dye house/mill are prone to bleeding. Pre-washing to remove excess dyes before sewing with these fabrics is highly recommended. Raspberry Creek is not responsible for solid, dyed fabrics bleeding as this is a common issue industry wide. Precautions need to be taken with solid, dyed fabrics no matter the vendor.
- Need to remove a stain from clothing made with our fabrics? We suggest a soak in oxi-clean or a phosphate free stain pre-treatment and then proceeding with the gentle washing instructions listed above. Avoid abrasive stain removers.
